Neonicotinoids – debate on 27th April

On 27th April at 1p.m. in Westminster the National Farmers Union (NFU) and the Friends of the Earth (FoE) will be debating “Neonicotinoids: Friend or Foe” in front of MPs and the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Bees.

This new parliamentary group was set up at the end of 2015 by beekeeping MP Huw Merriman. Its stated purpose is “To inform parliamentarians about bees, other pollinators and beekeeping and to campaign and raise awareness of impacted issues.”
